Jeff Garcia didn’t want to go to jail.
That’s why this now-veteran GIS and ArcFM user went back to school to add an applied-science degree in geospatial technology to his criminal justice degree. Jeff has been solving technology needs at Garland Power & Light (GP&L) ever since.
“I started from the bottom as a temp,” Jeff said. “Now I’m at the top, but it’s scary up here.”
If it sounds like Jeff is joking, it’s because he is. This AIPS Manager at GP&L is a jack of all trades, knowledgable at solving field technology requests and bringing the most current technology solutions to GP&L.
